6 of Cups & 4 of Pentacles
“Holding onto memories of long ago keeps you from moving into tomorrow”
The 6 of Cups represents the nostalgia of a time long ago, perhaps our childhood or a time when everything seemed perfect. You may find yourself escaping into a dream of “when things were better”, wishing not to experience the hardships of today. The 6 of Cups also represents the act of giving and sharing. The 4 of Pentacles on the other hand is about taking and keeping. He does not share, but saves. His nature is not one that mixes well with the 6 of Cups. Together these two cards may indicate conflictions between a desire to share and a need to save. Alternatively it may indicate a nature of clinging to the past and blocking anything new to develop.
