Fast Fortune

“You have plenty of time, so take a break, there is no rush”

Full Fortune

Card 7 shows a monkey dressed as Shakespeare hold a skull, typing on a typewriter. On the bottom a mathematical equation is written that equals infinity. Ciro states this represents the infinite in which the impossible is able to happen. It is said, given enough time a monkey could write all the works of Shakespeare by randomly hitting keys. The essence of this card, anything can happen just give it enough time.

Card 35 shows a woman under a golden umbrella seeking a moments rest. She is isolation and solitude. This card represents a need to get away from the rush of everyday life, to find some “me” time. Everything leaves from her mind and she is at peace. Ciro says that we should use caution on the degree and frequency of solitude we enter, not to let it become “uncontrolled isolation”.

Together these cards show that you have enough time to work on the things you are working on. You have plenty of time. Take some time to recharge your batteries and find the “me” time you need.

Fast Fortune

“We seek change from dissatisfaction”

Full Fortune

Card 15 shows a woman holding a letter and rose. She represents matters of which are coming to an end or conclusion. What is this letter? Is it a good bye letter? Is she giving it or receiving it? These are questions Ciro asks of this card. To me it looks like a letter to someone who she never was able to say good bye to, the rose reminds me of flowers we leave at gravesites. She wants closure from a situation that remains open.

Card 50, shows a mermaid in a glass sphere. She enters a world of imagination and wonder. This world provides a sense of escape from reality. We seek escape from reality often when things are tough, when we are unhappy with our live and the turn of events. This card represents a desire for an alternative to the present circumstance. Ciro states that this new world may be intoxicating and make us discontent.

Together these cards speak of a desire to end something in the hopes of finding something new and ideal. You may find yourself today dissatisfied with something and because of this you want to change the situation to make it match this ideal dream you think things should be like. Nothing is truly “perfect” and the grass is always greener on the other side.

Fast Fortune

Reflect on the past in order to find your path to the future”
Full Fortune

Card 22 shows a man viewing images (cards from the deck) on a projector. These images are of his past. He reflects on the images and the impacts the memories have had on him. Ciro states that we should not dwell on the past and that our memory may not remember the accuracy of an event but the emotional feeling to the memory.

Card 52 shows a woman standing on a globe pointing forward. She is symbolic of the future. She points outward, to goals and objectives. She has something to obtain and points to the way. Ciro states that having a goal in life, no matter how small makes the difference between a day to day existence and a fuller life.

Together these cards show two opposites, past and future, reflection and direction. Combined these cards ask that we should reflect on our past, dreams, errors, mistakes, desires and go out to obtain our goals. We may want to revisit old goals that we have lost or forgotten and see if we can attempt them once more.

Oracle Fortune ~ June 27th 2011

0

This week I am doing things a little different. Instead of Tarot Fortunes, I am doing Oracle Fortunes. I will be using the Oracle of Visions which is created by Ciro Marchetti, the creator of the tarot decks, The Gilded Tarot, The Tarot of Dreams and The Legacy of the Divine Tarot.

Fast Fortune

“Something waits to be born, make preparations for what awaits to arrive”

Full Fortune

Card 23 shows a woman in the forest, with a tree tattoo on her back. On her arm is a nest with eggs in it. A bird sits on her hand and in the distance we wind a unicorn. This card speaks to me as our relationship and connection with nature. The tree on her back symbolizes being grounded and rooted in the earth. Ciro states in his book that she provides shelter and is symbolic of the tree.

Card 5 depicts a flying boat with birds flying over it. A woman with a flying contraption that reminds me of something De Vinci would have made is about to jump off and see if it will work. This speaks to me as a leap of faith, not knowing an outcome but taking that chance to see if it will work. This card is a positive move forward, taking a direction into the future. Ciro states the same that this is the leap of faith as with The Fool in Tarot, but Ciro says that unlike The Fool we do not need to be innocently leaping. We can educate ourselves, test and asses the dangers before we jump.

Together these cards show that today we need to ground ourselves firmly in the earth. Next then we need to take a risk. The eggs in card 23 will have to hatch one day, they represent something that will be born. Card 5 shows the steps to take before the eggs can hatch. Taking a leap of faith.

The Star & 2 of Wands

Fast Fortune

“Others seek to confuse your direction”

Full Fortune

The Star rules the day. Today’s main influence is guidance and finding our direction. The Star in the Tarot of the Elves is using the stars as a compass. Today we need to find direction and stay on our path. The trouble however appears with the 2 of Wands; we see in this card we see an evil Elf attacking a traveler. The traveler drops his bag and everything shatters. This can represent forces that block us on our path. Today try not to let others stray you from your path, goal and plans.

Death & 3 of Swords

Full Fortune

“Death runs rampant”

Full Fortune

Death rules the day, expect so see the energy around you to shift big time. You may feel like you need to remove things, people, ideas and beliefs from your life. Death is like a great cosmic house cleaning, often removing things painfully and many times unwantedly. Death is one of the great “change cards” who brings change for the sake of change, because change must happen for your personal development. The image of this Death card is very violent and darker than most images I have seen. The 3 of Swords reinforces the mood with the death of a small child. Again one of the most violent images of the 3 of Swords I have seen. The 3 of Swords represents separation and heartache. Today you may feel sadden by a separation or loss of some kind.

Temperance & 4 of Wands

Fast Fortune

“You need to heal your pains”

Full Fortune

Today is ruled by Temperance. The major issue that is focused on is healing. You have become wounded is some manner, it can be psychical pain or of the spiritual/mind. Temperance says that you need to wash away the cause of this pain and start fresh. The 4 of Wands indicates that this may be related to family or your relationship. The 4 of Wands shows today that foundations are strong to move things to the next level.

9 of Cups & 9 of Swords

Fast Fortune

“Offerings come your way, a cycle is ending”

Full Fortune

Today we have two 9 cards which mean things are coming to a conclusion. In both of these images there is on similar theme, that is, offerings. In the 9 of Cups a woman offers a cup to a king on his throne. In the 9 of Swords a solider offers a flower to a grave. What does this mean? It means a new offer is coming your way that will take you from where you are now. This can be a new relationship that takes the place of an old one. It can also be a new job offer, which makes you leave the old one behind. It feels like to me that it is the same person in the 9 of Cups who is buried in the 9 of Swords; the three triangles appear in both cards. This can mean today we remember those who we have lost

forgive

Quick n’ Fast Tarot – Forgiveness

0

Forgiveness! A simple concept and action in the sense, but it is a very hard thing to do. Most of the time we forgive others and seek forgiveness from others.

However the once person we forget to forgive is ourselves.

The Moon & 6 of Wands

Fast Fortune

“Mystery is your best weapon to victory”

Full Fortune

The Moon rules the day, which brings into focus your emotion and feelings. You may feel more sensitive that useful today. In this card a woman holds a baby, with a dog next to her. This may symbolize the desire to protect and guard something. The 6 of Wands indicates a large victory is to be won today. The people bowing down reflect your authority over others and the willingness of others to follow you. Together The Moon and 6 of Wands may imply devious actions may be needed for you to be victorious. On a more innocent and less dubious manner, this combo tells you it is time to get creative with how you obtain your goals. Today’s advice is to not let the cat out of the bag; mystery is your best weapon.
